Dr Duncan Babbage is the Synapse Project team lead. He is a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Psychology at Massey University's Wellington campus. A Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Duncan is engaged in both direct service delivery, research and research supervision, and teaching activities, with a key focus of his work being in brain injury rehabilitation.
Phil Howard is a doctoral candidate in the School of Psychology at Massey University. Based in Auckland, his research is examining the cognitive and physical dexterity demands of multi-touch interfaces for people with brain injuries. In particular, Phil is examining whether the interface of the Apple iPhone would be suitable for use in the rehabilitation of people with moderate to severe brain injuries.
Dr Tony Norris is Professor of Information Systems at Massey University’s Auckland campus. He has research interests include the strategic role of information management and information technology in health informatics—the application of IM&T to the planning and delivery of high quality and cost-effective healthcare. Professor Norris is Head of the Institute of Information and Mathematical Sciences and Director of Massey's Centre for Mobile Computing.
Dr Rosemary Stockdale is a Senior Lecturer in Information Systems at Massey University’s Auckland campus. Her research interests lie in the areas of evaluation of information systems, benefit realisation from electronic and mobile commerce, online communities and the use of IT in tourism.
Dr Janet Leathem is Professor of Neuropsychology at the School of Psychology at Massey University, Wellington. Her research spans the breadth of neuropsychological assessment and neurorehabilitation, with a particular focus on traumatic brain injury.
Dr Hokyoung Ryu is a Lecturer in Information Systems at Massey University’s Auckland campus. His current research interests include human-computer interaction and mobile learning.
